NiL Youth Theatre Weekend is that week-end of the year when all NiL theatre companies perform on the stage of the German State Theatre. NiL theatre company is the official company of "Nikolaus Lenau" High School in Timişoara. It was founded in 1996 by Christian Bormann, a guest actor from Germany, together with high school students. In 1998, NiL-Junior theatre company was founded for middle school students, and, in 2008, the After NiL theatre company at the initiative of a student who wanted to continue nourishing her passion for theatre. The companies participated in several school theatre festivals in Germany, Hungary, Croatia and Romania.

Edgar is a young man with a great talent for drawing. An artist, but also a nonconformist. That's why people don't understand him. Not even by his mother, who has brought up her two children alone. Only Willy, his best friend, and Marina, his sister, understand him. When he is expelled from school, he decides to leave home. Along the way, he meets many different women who influence his life to a greater or lesser extent. It is the journey from boy to man.

5 p.m.: THE IMAGINARY INVALID

The hypochondriac Argan thinks he is ill. The doctors are the only ones, who are of the same opinion, because Mr. Argan is very sick and the treatment is expensive. They prescribe him all sorts of useless cures, for large sums. Argan patiently accepts even the most absurd directives of his house doctor and carries them out with sanctity. His maid, Toinette, tries to convince him that it's all just a charade. Only his daughter, Angelique, is very affectionate with him, while Belinde, his much younger wife, tries everything to get at her husband's fortune.

A sparkling comedy as only Moliere can write.

7pm: THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORROR

a musical by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman

A dilapidated flower shop in an inner-city New York neighborhood is the scene of a madcap-comic tale of beastly botany and utopian fantasies. Mr. Mushnik's shop is doing badly. It's not until his employee Seymour puts a strange plant he bought from a Chinese merchant in the window under mysterious circumstances that things change. Suddenly the shop comes alive... but when it turns out that the plant needs human blood to thrive, things get worse. Seymour feeds the plant, which grows... and grows...
