There is an image that runs through the history of ideas: One climbs a mountain, overcomes all difficulties to reach the summit. Once there, one sees the world, exactly "as it is". You supposedly see the truth and not just shadows or reflections. But is that really the case?

The mountain mixes the first expedition to Mount Everest with the moment when Orson Welles spread panic with his radio broadcast The War of the Worlds. Badminton players, playing baseball, there is a fake news website, a drone watches the audience, there is a lot of snow, mobile screens, fragmented images and Vladimir Putin talking about truth and trust - all this is part of the play's frame of reference.
