Press excerpts

"Neil LaBute's play is not only reaffirming the qualities that make it so sought after by directors and young actors alike, but also, is the opportunity for a great show, prepared with utmost rigor- German rigor, I would say – by director Cristi Juncu and scenographer Cosmin Ardeleanu. They're joined by four very good interprets, impeccably chosen. […] Cristi Juncu likes stories. He makes theatre in order to tell stories. He's adamant that as storyteller to be as clear, obvious and convincing as possible. […] And The Shape of Things at the German State Theatre in Timisoara is, at least in my opinion, one of his best performances. It's as such also due to the fact that the director has found the ideal collaborator in set designer Cosmin Ardeleanu."
