NiL Theatre Day is that day of the year when all NiL theatre companies perform on the stage of the German State Theatre - a true celebration!
NiL theatre company is the official company of "Nikolaus Lenau" High School in Timişoara. It was founded in 1996 by Christian Bormann, a guest actor from Germany, together with high school students. In 1998, NiL-Junior theatre company was founded for middle school students, and, in 2008, the After NiL theatre company at the initiative of a student who wanted to continue nourishing her passion for theatre.
The companies participated in several school theatre festivals in Germany, Hungary, Croatia and Romania.
