The performance “Nihil Sine Deo” is the physical representation of the process composed of the actions of searching for, understanding, and embracing the Absolute. We define the Absolute as that superior entity, that element which cannot be grasped externally, which cannot be described as material or tangible, but which belongs to the immaterial realm—an element that can only be perceived through inner feeling and emotion.
By establishing a Creator–Creation relationship, humanity exists in a constant connection with Divinity, a connection made possible both through the acceptance and the denial of it. The process composed of the actions of searching for, understanding, and embracing this entity is continuous and fluctuating, leading ultimately to exhaustion—a state that represents the only moment in which we can truly recognize what we define as the Absolute, as Divinity.
This moment of exhaustion signifies the complete release of the body from conscious actions, from the preconceived thoughts about what the final answer should be. It is a moment of sincerity in which we can perceive what can only be defined through individual feeling.
Throughout its evolution, humanity has developed in relation to three ideas that seem to be the essential ingredients of our very making: Sexuality, the Desire to Fly, and Conquest—an inner conquest of one’s own body and an outer conquest materialized through space, information, and time.
