"Longing for a lover, Eva does not see in nutty Hecht, an enthusiastic
paper flower addict, the whole savagery of insanity, and falls victim of
her own enthusiasm. Hecht manages in an erotic ritual to create paper
flowers, yet destroy at the same time everything that surrounds him,
Eva's life included.
The two protagonists, Isolde Cobeţ
impersonating Eva and Andrei Hansel as Hecht, are a perfect match on
stage. Hansel, fully identifiable with his part, subsequently brings
substance to his character (the scene in which he shatters the old
furniture and creates a new one)."
